(Queen Maud Gulf Migratory Bird Sanctuary)
The Ahiak Area Co-Management Committee (ACMC) oversees the Ahiak (Queen Maud Gulf) Migratory Bird Sanctuary. The Ahiak ACMC was created in 2010 and is made up of members from Cambridge Bay, Gjoa Haven and Umingmaktok. The Ahiak ACMC meets 1-3 times per year and the meeting location rotates among member’s home communities.
